So it does run. Finally. And pretty good too, the exhaust sounds real nice. The previous owner had invested in dual exhaust back in 1996, I found the bill in the car, so the pipes were new. And still look pretty good. But as the car runs on the driveway, it drips out rusty water which stains the driveway, and my wife looks at it and says ‘is that permanent???’ with her all-knowing look. And it has been somewhat permanent – guess I’ll have to buy a powerwasher. But she does sound good, especially around 1800 rpm, a nice, throaty rumble. Man I love that sound. Here it is with the duals just pumping out the exhaust, looks nice, eh?
